City’s Spatial Planning and Environment women receive some TLC

The City’s Spatial Planning and Environment Directorate’s Woman in Leadership Network yesterday, 30 August rounded off the 2022 Women’s month by celebrating their women at a well-deserved pamper session event. The day consisted of various pamper treatments that were done by the BTI Beauty Therapy Institute and Dare2Ware Training Academy at the Zandvlei Lookout venue in Muizenberg

Most of the City women in attendance were from the Environmental Management Department and ranged from City Field Rangers and Conservation Officers, to EPWP Project Trainees and administration staff.  They were joined by the City's Deputy Mayor and Mayoral Committee member for Spatial Planning and Environment, Alderman Eddie Andrews.

'The City's Spatial Planning and Environment directorate employs 387 woman out of a 954 staff complement across the directorate and their contribution to the directorate is absolutely instrumental in their various capacities. Woman juggle multiple roles and are extremely resilient by nature, so I was very happy to see some of our hard working staff receive some well-deserved relaxing treatments as a token of our appreciation', said the City's Deputy Mayor and Mayoral Committee Member for Spatial Planning and Environment, Alderman Eddie Andrews.
